Time is getting so tight that I can't really decide what to revise at this stage!! So much to learn....and so much that I have yet to learn. My brain is so saturated that I feel like my head is gonna explode soon. I am hoping my beloved virology will not betray me on Monday and Tuesday!
Got an email informing us that class photo is to be taken on the coming Monday at 1.50pm, which is just 50 minutes after our 1st exam, while our 2nd one is on the day after!! I am wondering who the hell decides the date....Everybody would look absolutely great!
Hell.....I am so so so scared!!

Time's running out!
Thanks god that I can still use the notes that I made last year in Bristol and thanks god that I did medical virology last year! Need to make a few more notes on how to identify an unknown organism and thanks god again I did a presentation on SARS identification so that shouldn't take long!
Revision is fustrating but thanks god - they are virology!! Still debating whether I should revise statistic or not. It's possible to gain full marks in calculation which never happen in an essay but I really really do hate statistic! It's not difficult but it's absolutely boring...Why can't we do plain virology?
Anyway...as a believer of demonism I think I shouldn't say thanks god....Thanks demon!
Study leave for a 6 days from now on...here we go my beloved Virology!

Medical Libary, Saturday, shot 3!!!
Looking back from my desk in the libary. The libary was not too occupied but can't blame people really...It's just the 1st day of our study leave, most people were probably still in a hangover-state! I would be staying at home as well if my flat was silent and obviously it wasn't and there I was ending up sitting in the libary!

Grant Proposal is done!!
It seems that all my course assessment are completed! Still got exams and project to finish off though. Haven't gone out for a while and I can't believe how bad my alcohol tolerence has become! A pint of cider kept me all dizzy and high for at least 2 hours!
Really need a long long sleep before strating revision.

Reagent vending machine
Saw something really cool on the 3rd floor of our uni!! This is not a normal vending machine...this is a vending machine provides you with some commonly used reagents in labs!
Inside is packed with restriction enzymes, dNTPs, DNA ladder and all sorts of extrememly cool stuff. Thanks Faiza for showing me this machine after the ultimate SRC meeting today....I love it!

Found this thing in lab
What a clever design with two very cute eppendorf tubes!! Why they have got wings I've no idea whatsoever....but I think they should cheer themselves up a bit (well at least with a smiley face...) to show people that they really can withstand extreme templature! Now I feel a bit guity when I shuff my tubes in hot bath or in the -80 degree fride!

Walk-Sleeping instead of sleep-walking
I've developed a new skill!! I don't think I can do the sleep-walking trick but I am definitely capable of walk-sleeping. It's not as dangerous as it sounds coz my instinct tends to wake myself up before I cross the road. The trick seems to work quite well in the morning on the way from railway station to lab.....and I am getting quite a good set of experimental results recently. The trick probably allows me to perform better in labs!
How cool is that....just like a human version of MRSA! I've acquire a new ability! I am evolving!! Hurray!!

THE FINAL APOCALYPSE
LYRICS BY: Demon小暮閣下
MUSIC BY: Raiden 湯沢殿下
ARRANGED BY: 聖飢魔II
Angels are trumpin' the end of the world
Poisonous burning stars are fallin' to lands
The gruesome purple haze hanging the world
The sunshines and airs are moved into the dark
Your load destroy away all his works
He acts contrary to his words
Survivors only cling to powerless Cross
Then, Demons keep the Kingdom all after times
Infernal infidel infested an infertile inferno
Infestation inflamed the infidelity, infinity

I can feel my tendon man.....
Knowing that you have got a ganglion on your wrist is really quite a bad idea...come to think about it...it might be better off if I haven't discover the bloody thing...
It's not painful at all but there's always a funny feeling on my tendon where the ganglion residues whenever I overuse my writst. The thing does hurt a bit when I press on it with force but it ain't severe. It's just not pleasent feeling that ganglion actually exist! I wonder when will NHS contact me so I can get rid of this bloody thing asap. As soon as I can still be able to pipette and play badminton after the surgey I would once again be a happy bunny.
Really need to get on with my project proposal or I will be dead by the end if next week!

7.30am to 7.30pm!!
Oh mi god....I know travelling would be tough once project started but I've never have thought it would be that tough!
25/4 - Memorable day (1st day)
7am: Woke up!
7.40am: Leaving my flat
7.50am: Arrived Stratford tube station
8.05am: Arrived Bank station, changed to waterloo and city line
8.10am: Waiting for the bloody train to arrive, still stuck in Bank, swearing to myself
8.13am: Arrived Waterloo
8.17am: Swearing severly; Stuck in the bloody queue for buying ticket
8.20am: Train to Surrey depart; but still stuck in the queue!
8.22am: Got to the ticket machine
8.23am: Shocked!! £12.10 for a standard ticket?
30 seconds later....another shock!! No student discount available at peak time?
8.24am: Heart breaking.....Inserted £20 notes into the machine......
8.50am: Departed from Waterloo
9.00am: Started to rain
9.25am: Raining like cats and dogs
9.30am: Arrived Surrey
9.31am: Running in the rain
10am: Arrived lab, still raining
10.05am: Raining stopped
£12.10!!! It only cost me £4 and bit last time with student discount @ offpeak hours!!
Took me 2 hrs and a bit to get there.....totally exhauted, had 3 cups of coffee to keep me going. There weren't much to do apparently, mainly induction trainning in the 1st day but still ended up arriving home at around 7.30pm
26/4 2nd day
Woke up 20 minutes earlier and just managed to catch the 8.20am train to Surrey promptly. Still paying £12.10 for the ticket because I haven't figured out what seasonal ticket I should get yet! Monthly one should be most sppropriate but what about my railcard? I paid £15 for my railcard and the card doesn't provide me with any discount at all!!! I really can't believe it man......

Final week of holiday
Have been going to the libary a lot recently but having the mp3 player on I admit that sometimes it is rather difficult to concentrate. After several days of experiments I decided to eliminate most of Seikima-II's song from the mp3 players because there's absolutely no way that I can concentrate on my revision under Demon Kogure's singing!! What an infernal voice with sufficient brain-washing effects....
So instead I now have some soothing Final Fantasy soundtrack and some cantonese mp3s in my player which haven't distract me from my revision so far.
But still....I guess I really do hate Herpes Simplex virus a lot. Drawings and scribbles on my notes seem to increase rapidly whenever I revise HSV and I am starting to think that this might be a pretty good method of improving my drawing skill!

Recent News
All lectures and presentations - finished!!
which is incredible but vary scary somehow if you think about it...indicating my student life is coming to an end!
Project is partially sorted, unless now I've managed to find a supervisor who is willing to accept me. Surely I'll work hard on this project....I am determined to make those who had rejected my application regret deeply for the rest for their life!! Mu ha ha ha ha ha....
Just got my GP registration done yesterday so now I can make an appointment to have my rabies vaccine done sometimes if this is really needed for my summer project. Wonder how much does the vaccine cost?
Uni re-opening tomorrow. Hopefully I can get some of my revision done if I sit myself in the medical libary for a few hours....
